I joined Mental Health Advocacy Services as Executive Director earlier this year, and I can already tell you: this team is something special.
I've spent my entire career advocating for people who are too often pushed to the margins, and MHAS is doing some of the most meaningful work I've ever seen. Every day, our attorneys and advocates show up for clients at their most vulnerable moments: fighting an eviction, securing benefits, clearing a record, getting a child the support they need at school.
These aren't abstract legal problems. They're the things that determine whether someone stays housed, stays stable, stays in their community.
