Support Mental Health Advocacy Services' Emergency Response Fund Today

In response to the coronavirus outreak, Mental Health Advocacy Services (MAHS) had to make the difficult decision to close its office doors to the public as of this past Monday. Now, overnight, we have shifted to a completely remote operation. Our advocates and attorneys are working from home continuing and, in many cases, increasing their work to ensure that low-income individuals with mental health disabilities have access to safe living situations, medical care, benefits, and other resources they need to weather this crisis.

In light of this important work - and the work to come in protecting the rights of people with mental health disabilities as we move through the different phases of this crisis - I am asking you to consider making a donation to MHAS' Emergency Response Fund.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 between now and March 31. This will cover both the cost of new technology MHAS has already had to invest in during the past week and will also allow MHAS to purchase new, cloud-based technology that will enable our staff to continue to safely work from home for as long as is necessary.

We are incredibly appreciative of all of your support of Mental Health Advocacy Services during this difficult time and are sending strength, support, and love to you all!
